Transportation
At Edmonton Public Schools, we make every effort to provide regular, safe and efficient transportation for students who depend on buses to get to and from school each day. The province updated the transportation eligibility for K-6 students in Alberta. As a result, some students' eligibility for yellow busing may change in the 2026-2027 school year. Under revised guidelines, students attending their designate school may be eligible for transportation service if they are:
in Kindergarten to Grade 6 and live at least 1.6 kilometres away. These changes take effect in September 2026
Yellow bus services to Mee-Yah-Noh School is available to Glengarry neighborhood students (those who reside north of 132 Avenue to 137 Avenue and between 82 Street and 97 Street). Monthly yellow bus fees for eligible students are $50/month. Fees are due by the 5th of each month and can be paid through SchoolZone using Visa or MasterCard. Alternatively, fees can be paid in-person at the office where we accept exact cash, but prefer debit, Visa and MasterCard.
Special Needs Students accepted into our Community Learning Skills and Interactions programs may have access to Yellow bus service. For more information on transportation eligibility, bus passes, fees and routes please call us.
